The Hall Bar & Grill is a saloon-style steakhouse inspired by legendary Dallas restaurateur Bob Sambol (Bob’s Steak and Chop House). The intimate, 100-seat restaurant takes its name from the collegiate sports halls of fame, which celebrates the best of college athletics.
The restaurant’s clubby decor features photographs and memorabilia from North Texas luminaries and other residents who once excelled on the playing field and who now serve as leaders in business, law, medicine, community service and so on.
The Hall is now open at Trinity Groves, in the space adjacent to the breezeway across from Amberjax.
“I am a great admirer of the loyalty of college football fans. It never goes out of style. I’m looking forward to having the walls at The Hall full of pictures of Dallasites that played the game, as well those that cheered them on. I’ve already got great photos from Jerry and Stephen Jones, Neil Jeffrey, Doug Donley and Matthew Sign with more to come.” Bob Sambol
